TBC Media Group LLC launched in April 2015 and is the brainchild of Kenneice Wilson-Smith. Kenneice has over 20 years of sales, marketing, and advertising experience from print media to B2B sales. She has helped dozens of small businesses launch by handling branding, website design, marketing, advertising, network events, and even training sales teams.
Kenneice had her start in print media in 1996 with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She began in the Circulation Department, then worked her way up from a Part-Time Clerk in Home Delivery Department to Department Head Coordinator in the Single Copy Department and later promoted to the Major Accounts Department, where she learned print design, advertising, and sales.
Later she fell in her lane as an Account Executive for Salons Unlimited Magazine, only for the magazine to close shortly after coming on board. With the encouragement of several top Atlanta stylists, she launched her beauty trade magazine in 2011, The Beauty Consultant (TBC), as the only multicultural-professional trade publication in the professional beauty industry.
